In order to receive a payout, you’ll need to have a Stripe account. If you don’t already have one you can create one from the Verification Dashboard and clicking the ‘Connect with Stripe’ option.
Stripe is a free and secure payment processor trusted by some of the largest companies in the world, from the likes of Google and Amazon to Spotify and Uber. Unfortunately Stripe isn’t available everywhere just yet, so please check that Stripe is available in your country before continuing.
Yummit never has access to any secure or sensitive payment information that you provide to Stripe, and all data and transactions handled via Stripe are encrypted for additional safety.
When will I receive my money?
Payouts will be processed and automatically scheduled to be sent out every Sunday night. Any earnings made before Friday each week will be paid out on the Sunday, while any earnings made on either Saturday or Sunday will be paid out the following Sunday.
Yummit will also hold payments in Stripe until the meal has been successfully handed over to the customer.
Customers will be asked to confirm a successful handover as soon as they have received their food. Handover’s are also assumed successful, and funds released to cooks if no complaints have been received within 48 hours of their expected arrival or pickup time.
Yummit has the right to issue refunds based on reports of any issues from customers. We will seek a fast, fair and honest resolution to any disputes regarding food quality and full or partial refunds may be processed from your earnings in order to resolve any issues.
If you wish to offer any refunds yourself as a result of any mistakes or failure to complete an order, please talk to us directly via the contact form, with the order number so we can quickly jump in to release the refund and inform the customer.
